June 25th marks National Low-Carbon Day. During the "Carbon Pioneers, Green Future" themed event, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment released the "2025 Green and Low-Carbon Model Cases". The case "Green Future, Painting a New Chapter with Oil - Daqing Oilfield's Green and Low-Carbon Efforts in Drawing a Beautiful Petroleum Picture of China" was successfully selected, becoming the only case from China National Petroleum Corporation to make the list.

This case fully demonstrates the outstanding achievements and valuable experiences of traditional energy enterprises in their transition to green and low-carbon development. Under the guidance of the national "dual carbon" goals, Daqing Oilfield has actively implemented the "clean replacement, strategic succession, and green transformation" three-step overall plan of China National Petroleum Corporation, vigorously promoting the integrated development of wind, solar, gas, storage, and hydrogen, and comprehensively building a "five-in-one" industrial pattern. It has achieved a leap from traditional energy extraction to green energy supply, creating multiple low-carbon demonstration projects and forging a new path of sustainable development that benefits both ecological and economic outcomes.

During the process of low-carbon development, Daqing Oilfield has achieved multiple breakthroughs. In terms of energy structure, it is striving to build the largest low-carbon oil and gas production base of China National Petroleum Corporation, with a total installed capacity of distributed wind and solar power generation reaching 1.06 million kilowatts. In terms of technological innovation, it has broken through key technologies such as long-distance pipeline transportation of CCUS across phases and U-shaped well geothermal development, and established a smart energy management and control platform, gradually achieving intelligent and coordinated optimization of supply and consumption. In terms of ecological integration, it has created a ten-thousand-mu ecological forest area, promoting the coordinated development of energy and ecology, and adhering to the "greening of existing assets + low-carbonization of new assets" dual-wheel drive, achieving a value leap from "black oil" to "green energy".

In recent years, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has continuously carried out the collection of green and low-carbon model cases. This selection was widely solicited across the country, and after multiple rounds of screening, 60 model cases in four categories - parks, enterprises, communities, and bases - were finally selected. Daqing Oilfield stood out among numerous applications with its outstanding practical achievements, and its related case became one of the 15 outstanding enterprise cases, providing a referenceable "Daqing solution" for the transformation of the energy industry.
